If GM's fine with it, get him to come in 30 minutes early (or you guys can come in 30 minutes late) and deal with it in that time.
As for you, just tell him to write his list for you down before you come in.
That way he got some time to do what he wanted, and you still have time to do what you wanted but not sit through something that have very few things to do with you. Everyone's happy.
Or, if you really think that 30 minute is that important to you guys: Tell them to do it on their own time between sessions. It's a pre/post-session thing anyhow, and its not like you guys don't chat at off times... Do you? 0_-
