Ljósálfar, or light elves in common language, are fair, elegant, intelligent and longevity. Elven poems and artworks are well-known in the world. They, however, are rare to be seen due to sparse population; there are only almost one hundred elves in the world and most of them live together. Ljósálfar live in Álfheimr (Elvenland), where the trees are always green, flowers bloom forever.

Elven language is always cursive, with many snake-like curves and dots; and letters highly vary in shape depending on their position within a word. Elven calligraphy is full of emotion as it functionlly controls the pace and tone.
